Mission Statement
As a Church of Jesus Christ in Fairview Park
it is our calling to learn, live and share the
message of Jesus Christ
Our Sunday Morning Worship Services begin at 11:00
am. Child care is available. Children nine years old and
younger begin morning worship with their parents and move into Sunday
School class after the children's' sermon. Our Adult Sunday School
class meets each Sunday morning at 9:45 am

OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHRISTIAN
SERVICE
Our nursery is in need of volunteers on the
2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, during worship services. The
time is 10:45 am until the end of the service. Please let
Marilyn Yesberger know if you can help on one of these Sundays.
The Committee on Lay Leadership has
positions available for 2010. Please see Pastor Darlene if you
are interested in serving.
Pastor Darlene is developing an intercessory
prayer team for the church and still needs one or two more people to
be a part of the team. Please let her know if you are
interested.

COVE CHURCH SOS. THRIFT STORE
The store will have a Brown Bag Sale the month off March.
Starting Saturday, March 6th, 2010. Items to be purchased are: all
clothing, shoes, belts, hats, gloves and children's clothing. You
will be given a large brown bag (grocery size) for $5.00 Store
hours are Tuesdays and Saturdays from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm.
CHORUS EVENT AT FAIRVIEW HIGH SCHOOL SATURDAY,
MARCH 20
The Great Northern Chorus, the Elyria Cascade Chordsmen, 4-Way Stop,
Lake Ridge Chorus, Sweet Adelines plus Chapter Quartets will be at
Fairview High School here in Fairview Park on Saturday, March 20, 2010
at 7:30 pm. Group tickets are available at $10 for 15 or more.
Please let Pastor Darlene know if you would like to attend. We may
be able to get 15 or more people if we join up with Cove UMC and
Lakewood Christian Church. Student tickets are $5. General
Admission tickets are $13.
FIRST FRIDAYS
Cove Church has resurrected their First Friday's. We will be
showing the movie, "Fireproof" on Sturdy, March 5, 2010. The doors
open at 7:00 pm. and the movie will start at 7:30 pm. Snacks will
be served. A free will offering will be taken for the cost of
food. No reservations needed.
WEEKEND TO REMEMBER March 12-14th
This is an experience that has changed the lives of so many couples
and it can do the same for you. This year's conference will be
held in Cleveland at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel, March 12-14th.
